"The Lower St Croix River Valley offers one of the nations most diverse fisheries, a day on the water with Big Pike Mike offers the opportunity to not only tap into some of the finest fishing around, but learn about the incredible diversity and beauty of the Lower St Croix River."

The primary target is the elusive Musky. The Croix is one of the finest untapped Musky waters around, over the past few years I have dedicated my time almost exclusively to hunting them. The results have been nothing short of phenomenal! With well over 100 fish landed in the past 2 seasons, I have the confidence and skill to guide you to that fish of 10,000 casts, only we'll shorten that up a little! We'll use a variety of techniques and baits, but you can expect a mixed bag of trolling, casting and if the conditions allow we'll throw a Scott 10wt Fly Rod for the ultimate thrill. I'll guide you in comfort from my 18" Alumacraft Tournament Pro, powered by a fast, quiet and reliable Yamaha Vmax 150HPDI outboard, my Yamaha T8 Kicker motor handles the trolling duties. If the musky bite is off, we can also chase walleye and smallmouth bass for a full St Croix mixed bag. If there's a new technique or species on the river you'd like to chase, we'll discuss it and customize a trip of your liking."

I include all the tackle necessary, as well as beverages and snacks but recommend you bring raingear, sunscreen and polarized glasses and of course a valid MN or WI fishing liscence. A tasty shore lunch is available on request and all trips will be digitally cataloged for a record of your adventure. Enquire about current conditions and rates."
